While the episode was delayed for a week, “Sword Art Online” Season 3 Episode 13 will be back in its regular schedule going forward. As to what the episode has in store for fans, it would seem that there will be some surprising revelations awaiting Kirito. It might even affect him in the real world if he fails in the mission that he will be given.
Based on the preview clip of “Sword Art Online” Season 3 Episode 13 shown below, it would seem that a flashback episode is waiting for viewers when it airs. It will likely only be for a bit of the entire segment, but it should be enough to provide fans who only watch the anime with a good idea of what is going on. The episode itself should show how Cardinal lost to the Administrator, thus leading to her exile.
Even without subtitles, it’s easy enough to see from the clip that something has disturbed the Administrator after bringing up her status screen. This might have something to do with the discussion that Kirito and Eugeo will have with Cardinal in “Sword Art Online” Season 3 Episode 13. There are current predictions that the conversation involves the Underworld ending and its inhabitants being destroyed.
This must be due to the reckless influence that the Administrator has had over the simulation where she essentially created a malicious system and caste arrangement to protect her rule. When “Sword Art Online” Season 3 Episode 13 airs, Kirito might even be told of how the end of the Underworld could hurt his real body.
In any case, “Sword Art Online” Season 3 Episode 13 will be back on the small screen on Dec. 5. Fans will then be able to see if there is yet another life-threatening incentive for Kirito to take action this time.
