BEVERLY HILLS, Calif., Jan. 06, 2016 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- TOMI™ Environmental Solutions, Inc. (OTCQB:TOMZ) (TOMI), a global bacteria decontamination and infection prevention company, received an order for its SteraMist™ Surface Unit from Espire Health, an existing SteraMist customer. Espire Health plans to use deploy SteraMist in new facilities being opened across the Philippines.
This order, valued at approximately $500,000, expands TOMI and Espire Health’s existing program to combat issues such as tuberculosis resistance within healthcare facilities.
Dr. Halden Shane, TOMI’s Chief Executive Officer, stated: “We are pleased to continue our relationship with Espire Health as we believe this additional order for SteraMist demonstrates the value our products provide to customers and validates the effectiveness of our technologies in a variety of applications. Over the past year, we have significantly expanded the footprint of our products both domestically and internationally as SteraMist is quickly establishing a reputation for its advantages in speed and efficacy over competing household and industrial cleaners. In this application specifically, the need for such a product is quite evident as the Philippines has among the world’s highest cases of TB resistance.”
TOMI’s has a five-second application time for room surfaces and a seven-minute contact time, the fastest of all mechanical cleaning healthcare agents. The mist produced by BIT dries rapidly on contact, does not contain or produce toxins or harsh chemicals such as chlorine hypochlorite (bleach), aldehydes, phenols, ammonium compounds, sodium hydroxide, or contain silver.
