ADVISORY, Aug. 01, 2017 --
What:
The Ad Council, a non-profit organization with a rich history of marshalling volunteer talent from the advertising and media industries to deliver critical messages to the American public, will visit the Nasdaq MarketSite in Times Square in honor of their new campaign in association with the American Lung Association’s LUNG FORCE initiative. The new campaign, “Saved By The Scan,” is a lung cancer screening campaign aimed to raise awareness of the benefits of early detection through lung cancer screening and drive high risk individuals to take a lung cancer screening eligibility quiz. As the #1 cancer killer of men and women, if only half of the 9 million Americans at high risk got scanned, over 15,000 lives would be saved.
In honor of the occasion, Michael Seilback, Vice President, Public Policy & Communications, Northeast Region, American Lung Association and Ellyn Fisher, SVP, Public Relations and Social Media, Ad Council will ring the Opening Bell.
