‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 10’s episode 12, titled "The Holiday Summation," is set to be told in a series of flashbacks as the gang recall their individual experiences over the Christmas holidays. It will also follow Bernadette and Howard as they adjust to baby Halley’s arrival.
The incoming episode of CBS’ popular long-running sitcom is set to follow Bernadette and Howard Wolowitz as they face new challenges as parents with the arrival of baby Halley. Executive producer Steve Molaro said during an interview with Entertainment Weekly, “You’ll get a taste of it in the first episode back in January… The entire gang and Stuart, all eight of them, are back having dinner in the living room like old times, recapping how their horrible holidays went.”
Molaro continued, “In there will be Howard and Bernadette’s first week or two with the baby and Bernadette’s adjustment to trying to be a new mom… There’s a good dose, really actually a very touching dose, of Bernadette and Wolowitz in their first week or two with the baby.”
“The Holiday Summation” will also be told in a series of flashbacks as the gang went through their holidays apart following the events of episode 11, titled "The Birthday Synchronicity." The mid-season finale featured the birth of Howard and Bernadette’s baby.
According to the recap on Den of Geek, Bernadette was taken to the hospital by her husband Howard as well as friends Raj and Stuart. However, they were told that they went too early and had to wait it out. Meanwhile, Amy attempted to seduce Sheldon with her own birthday surprise but the duo’s plans were eventually interrupted.
It seems that Amy and Sheldon will be visiting the latter’s hometown in Texas for Christmas but things won’t go too smoothly. The two will share their horrendous holiday experience in the incoming episode.
‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 10’s episode 12, titled "The Holiday Summation," is scheduled to air on CBS on January 5, 2017. It was directed by Mark Cendrowski with a story by Steve Molaro, Eric Kaplan, and Tara Hernandez and teleplay by Steve Holland, Maria Ferrari, and Jeremy Howe.
