‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 10’s episode 18, titled “The Escape Hatch Identification,” will follow Raj as he is offered Sheldon’s old room to help him manage his living expenses. Meanwhile, Beverly is set to return to help Sheldon deal with personal problems, while offering marriage advice to her son Leonard.
The brief synopsis for “The Escape Hatch Identification” posted on TV Guide reads, “Leonard (Johnny Galecki) and Penny (Kaley Cuoco) offer Sheldon's (Jim Parsons) old room to Raj (Kunal Nayyar) after he moves out of his apartment.”
The upcoming episode will follow Raj as he is offered Sheldon’s old room while he searches for cheaper living alternatives. According to International Business Times, Raj appointed Sheldon as his financial manager after he stopped receiving his regular living allowance from his wealthy parents in order to prove his capability and independence.
In the previous episode, titled "The Comic-Con Conundrum," Raj told his friends that he couldn’t make it to their annual Comic-Con trip since he couldn’t afford it. He attempted to sell collectibles and working for Stuart (Kevin Sussman) to make ends meet. Although Howard (Simon Helberg) and Bernadette (Melissa Rauch) offered to pay him for babysitting their daughter Halley, he rejected the money as well as the chance to go to Comic-Con.
In the end, Howard and Leonard decided to skip out on the event to stay home with their wives leaving Sheldon the only one adamant on attending with his girlfriend Amy (Mayim Bialik).
Meanwhile, Christine Baranski is set to return as Leonard's mother Beverly Hofstadter. Beverly will offer Leonard and Penny advice on marriage and will help Sheldon hurdle some problems of his own.
‘The Big Bang Theory’ season 10’s episode 18, titled “The Escape Hatch Identification,” is scheduled to air on CBS on March 9, 2017. It was directed by Mark Cendrowski with a story by Steven Molaro, Eric Kaplan, and Anthony Del Broccolo and teleplay by Steve Holland, Jim Reynolds, and Tara Hernandez.
