After one very druken night and a lot of slurring and crabut brilliant ideas, the gang is back with an all new episode this week. This week's episode of the hit TV comedy series 'The BIg Bang Theory' circles around the brilliant boys putting actions to their words as they apply for a patent on one of their drunken ideas. So here is a recap of this week's episode titled "The Application Deterioration". Warning: Spoilers ahead!
Last week we saw Howard come up with a brillian ahead because of what Sheldon said, and now they have decided to patent it and make profit out of it. Sheldon, Leonard, and Howard arrive at the patent office, excited to hear that the attorney thinks their invention is solid. Everyone is all ecstatic about it that they already thought of things to buy with the money they can get. But there is a catch. They must verify that they understand the university owns 75 percent of their patent. At this point, three very confused faces look up from three life-changing documents. Cries of, “That’s so unfair!” are met with, “It’s the university’s policy.”
Leonard suggests that they sign the document and any money that he and Sheldon make, they split three ways with Howard. Bernadette, on the other hand, is doubtful about the arrangement. Bernadette takes Howard into the hall. Does he really want to sign a contract and enter into an agreement with Sheldon Cooper of all people?
And so, Penny suggested that they include a clause where Sheldon cannot make fun of Howard. Everyone pores over the new documents and agrees that the clause is sufficient. Then Bernadette notices another line item: “Twenty-five percent of profits due to Sheldon Cooper will be allocated to a scholarship fund for the first-born child of Howard and Bernadette Wolowitz.”
This truly made everyone love Sheldon more, regardless of how weird and annoying he can be. Nice one Sheldon.
Meanwhile, Raj is torn between two potential lovers when Emily sent him a $500 dollar gift and called him crying. Raj goes to her house only to be called by Claire that she has broken up with his boyfriend. So it would seem that raj is going to be juggling two women now.
