Filming for “The Blacklist” Season 6 started late July, and very little information has been coming out of the set. It seems the cast and crew really have their things together during the shoot since leaks have been few and far in between. Fortunately, there are instances where fans are given a glimpse of what might be going on during filming. One of these instances is courtesy of Megan Boone (Elizabeth Keen).
In a recent Instagram post, the actress teased fans with a behind-the-scenes look of filming for “The Blacklist” Season 6. The post also came with the caption “Let’s play ‘Where are Megan & Diego?’ If you hit Tag you’ve lost all ambition,” showcasing her playful side. Diego is referring to Diego Klattenhoff in this post, who plays Donald Ressler on the show.
For those who might be having trouble finding the two in the picture, they’re the pair under the boom microphone. They’re actually hard to miss. Still not enough to give hints as to what “The Blacklist” Season 6 will entail, though.
Based on the photo that came with the post, the crew seems busy filming a scene that either involves police cars or during an instance in which police cars are needed to keep the public at bay. Considering the angle of the cameras and the position of both Elizabeth and Donald, however, it’s safe to say that the cars are part of a scene. Viewers can watch out for this in “The Blacklist” Season 6.
Unfortunately for fans of James Spader, the actor can be seen nowhere in the photo. This is expected since the showrunners would want to keep his activities under wraps to prevent plot spoilers. As CarterMatt points out, the secrecy is only to be expected. “The Blacklist” Season 6 is expected to air sometime in 2019, after all, which is a long way off.
