“The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 is reportedly slated to premiere in November. Meanwhile, many fans are hoping that next season will feature a crossover episode with “Ancient Aliens.”

History hass yet to announce an official release date for “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6. But in a recent report from Starcasm, it is rumored that the new season will premiere sometime in “early November.”

The estimated schedule for “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 was reportedly suggested by members of the production. Meanwhile, a fan also confirmed in a Facebook comment last month that the cast and crew were filming on Oak Island at the time. The same fan then suggested that a fall premiere is very likely.

While fans wait for the announcement of the “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 release date, there are also speculations that the show will feature a crossover episode with “Ancient Aliens.” This was possibly stirred by Marty Lagina's recent appearance in Giorgio Tsoukalos's show.

In a previous interview with Monsters & Critics, executive producer Kevin Burns was asked about a possible “overlap” between the two shows. Burns did not definitively say there will be but he is open to the likelihood of a crossover in the future.

"I can only say that the idea to do '[The Curse of] Oak Island' came out of those first two-hour episodes of Ancient Aliens because we were following up on a theory that the Ark of the Covenant may be the secret object that’s buried in the bottom of the Money Pit," Burns said. "So, do I think that we could do Civil War Gold meets ‘Ancient Aliens’ meets ‘The Curse of Oak Island’? Yes."

Meanwhile, what’s going to be certainly explored in “The Curse of Oak Island” season 6 is the medieval cross they uncovered last season in Nova Scotia. Burns confirmed that they were still testing the cross at the time of the interview. And if tests prove that it is older than 1300 AD, Burns suggested that it might have been “left behind by a Templar” that may prove they were in North America “years before Columbus.”
