“The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 episode 18 is coming up next, and it will probably be an amazing episode as the Lagina brothers are set to inspect an amazing find. Previously, they dug up to 20 feet below and came across an interesting hole that Marty Lagina think is a tunnel.
Synopsis and what to expect
As posted on TV Guide, “The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 episode 18 has been titled “The Turning Point,” and its synopsis reads: “New analysis connects man-made activity in the swamp to the construction of the Money Pit just as the team begins their most ambitious and expensive operation yet to locate the elusive treasure shaft.”
The hole that they dug up in the swamp where the tunnel was located is deep, and the walls are crumbling, but still, the Lagina brothers and their team are going to dangerous lengths and go further in “The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 episode 18 to find the treasure since they feel that they are getting closer. It is expected that they will still focus on the swamp because after finding a lot of things there, they believe that they will also find answers to the 200-year-old mystery soon.
Recap
The team already found many proofs that suggest the swamp is man-made. They investigated the “eye of the swamp,” the Nolan cross boulders, and the entire triangular-shaped swamp.
They also started digging on the spot where the ship-shaped anomaly was detected last year. They found many wood scraps and some pieces of metals. All of these objects were tested to be from the 1700s.
However, they may have to stop their activities in the Smith’s Cove as their permission to dig there is already expiring in a month. Rick Lagina already called the people who will extract the cofferdam since it will take weeks to completely remove them. Despite this, their most memorable moment in the previous episode was finding the over 200-year-old tunnel.
In any case, it is yet to see how they will get closer to the tunnel in “The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 episode 18 since it is deep and has the possibility to collapse. There could be more revelations up ahead, and they mystery will slowly be solved.
“The Curse of Oak Island” season 7 episode 18 will be on air on March 24 at 9 p.m. on History Channel.
