“The Division 2” is one of the highly anticipated video games in 2019. Gaming fans will experience to act as a member of the titular elite force tasked to revive Washington, DC caught in a civil war. It is finally going live in a little over a week for players on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
PC players must take note of the rig requirements of “The Division 2” to get the decent and up to the best possible experience of the game. Luckily, Ubisoft released the list of recommended specs based on the player’s desired frame rate and display resolution.
“The Division 2” is compatible with Windows 7, 8, and 10 and DirectX 11 and 12. The minimum specs needed for the game to play in 1080p and 30 frames per second include either AMD FX-6350 or Intel Core i5-2500K — base speed clocked at 3.9GHz and 3.3GHz, respectively — and an 8GB RAM. A dedicated 2GB VRAM such as AMD Radeon R9 270 or Nvidia GeForce GTX 670.
However, the game can also pay in 1080p + 60fps, 1440p + 60fps, and 4K + 60fps on a much higher rig. Check Ubisoft’s complete table of PC recommended specs to achieve this high-level of frame rate and resolution display.
There are three game editions available for pre-ordering “The Division 2” across the three gaming platforms. As usual, the Standard Edition will only have the base game for $59.99. The Gold and Ultimate Editions are available with three-day early game access and the Year 1 Pass for upcoming DLCs for $99.99 and $119.99, respectively. The Ultimate Edition exclusively comes with the Elite Agent Pack, Battleworn Secret Service Pack, and First Responder Pack.
However, for players who also want to collect “The Division 2”-themed physical items, they might also want to check out the Phoenix Shield and Dark Zone Definitive Editions. These purchases include figurines, Washington, DC map, steelbook case, and more exclusive digital contents.
At the moment, Ubisoft has not yet announced if “The Division 2” will have the cross-platform play function. If so, this will allow gamers to play together regardless of the platform they are using that can be a great addition for multiplayer action role-playing games like “The Division 2.”
“The Division 2” will be officially released on March 15. However, those who purchased the Gold and Ultimate Editions can access the game as early as March 12.
