The coming days are going to be an important one for players of “The Elder Scrolls Online” as the much-awaited new chapter titled “Greymoor” is finally going live. While this is an all-new adventure both for new and long-time fans, many aspects of it should feel quite familiar as it is set in Skyrim.
‘The Elder Scrolls Online: Greymoor’ tips: How to start the new chapter
It should be noted that while the region where “The Elder Scrolls Online: Greymoor” is happening is a very familiar one, it will still deliver new zones for players to explore. However, the good news is, starting the new lore is quite straightforward. Players who have played previous chapters will just have to use a Wayshrine that can be found in the Western Skyrim region from the game map and then specifically choose the Solitude Docks Wayshrine.
To start “The Elder Scrolls Online: Greymoor,” players should look for the Greymoor main questline by opening the Collections UI, open “Stories,” and choose “Chapters.” Select the Greymoor menu that should show the first quest called “The Gathering Storm.” The game should show players a particular boat that will take them to the Solitude Docks.
Meanwhile, new “The Elder Scrolls Online” players jumping straight into the “Greymoor” chapter will have to create a character and might want to try completing the Chapter tutorial first. Nevertheless, they will also start their “Greymoor” journey by completing the same quest. Unlike other games, players do not have to reach certain levels to travel to the new zones.
Both new and old players will find it helpful to get familiar with the new chapter. They can do so by playing the free “Greymoor Prologue” gameplay. They just need an active “The Elder Scrolls Online” account to access it.
‘The Elder Scrolls Online: Greymoor’ release dates
The development of “The Elder Scrolls Online: Greymoor” was one of the video game projects that saw a change in the timeline due to coronavirus. On the bright side, ZeniMax and Bethesda did not have to drastically adjust the release dates for “The Elder Scrolls Online: Greymoor” on PC and consoles.
Overall, the launch of the new chapter was only delayed by a week. “The Elder Scrolls Online: Greymoor” will be available on PC and Mac on Tuesday, May 25. It will arrive the following week, on June 2, on Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
