About the Lawsuit
Apollo and certain of its executives are charged with failing to disclose material information during the Class Period, violating federal securities laws.
The complaint alleges that throughout the Class Period, Apollo engaged in improperly aggressive recruiting tactics on military basis that contradicted an Executive Order and the express terms of Apollo’s contracts with the Department of Defense regarding tuition assistance programs, which eventually resulted in Apollo being put on probation by the Department of Defense. Apollo also purportedly failed to disclose that its efforts to transition to a new online classroom platform were failing due to software compatibility problems, negatively impacting retention rates and new student enrollment.
