There are several things going on with “The Last Kingdom” Season 3 right now, including the show’s planned appearance at the 2018 London Comic Con. This is scheduled for Oct. 27 and will feature a competition where two lucky fans can watch the premiere episode of the new season before others. More information on the actors playing new characters has also been reported.
In a recent tweet via the show’s official Twitter account, it was announced that the cast will be making an appearance at the London Comic Con for “The Last Kingdom” Season 3. There will be a contest that will determine which lucky fans will be seeing the first episode of the season in an exclusive setting before it airs on Netflix.

As Carter Matt notes, this is a good opportunity for fans of the series to hear what writer Stephen Butchard has in store for them. Some members of the cast will also be making an appearance, which gives attendees an opportunity to meet the people playing their favorite characters. Speaking of which, details with regards to the new faces appearing in “The Last Kingdom” Season 3 have also been covered.
Among the new blood that will be seen in “The Last Kingdom” Season 3 is Jarl Harald Bloodhair, who will be played by Swedish actor Ola Rapace. Bloodhair will serve as the main antagonist of this season and, as his name suggests, he is going to be a brutal one. Those who have already read the fifth book of “The Saxon Stories” titled “The Burning Land” will already know why this new character is worth fearing.
“The Last Kingdom” Season 3 will air on Netflix later this year, but the exact date has yet to be revealed. Fans should expect the new episodes to drop at any time.
