MOUNTAIN VIEW, Calif., July 12, 2017 -- The Linley Group, the industry's leading source for independent technology analysis of semiconductors for networking, communications, mobile, and wireless, today announced the Linley IoT Hardware Conference will take place on July 25 - 26 at the Hyatt Regency in Santa Clara, Calif. Mike Demler, senior analyst at The Linley Group, will open the conference with a presentation on IoT Technology Trends and Market Forecast. This two-day, single-track event will cover hardware design for applications such as smart cities, smart grid, smart farms, smart homes, connected vehicles, and industrial IoT, along with wearables, health and fitness devices.
“To build successful IoT and wearable devices, designers must have a solid understanding of digital, analog, RF, and sensor components, as well as system-level issues such as security and low-power design," commented Mike Demler, Conference Chair and senior analyst at The Linley Group. “At this year’s Linley IoT Hardware Conference, speakers will describe new chips, IP cores, and semiconductor technologies to address this rapidly growing market, with an emphasis on energy-efficient processors, hardware security, and wireless connectivity. Tuesday, July 25, attendees will also have the opportunity to interact with industry leaders, network with other designers, and attend the evening networking reception, from 4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m., with sponsor exhibits and demos. We will end the conference on Wednesday, July 26 with a 'Happy Hour' sponsored by Synopsys.”
The conference will feature new product announcements from Andes Technology and Cadence Design Systems. A special industry panel includes IoT startup founders and a discussion of emerging technologies for low-power wide-area sensor networks. Day 2 kicks off with a keynote presentation from Voicebox CEO and cofounder Rich Kennewick, on enhancing user experiences by enabling voice in the IoT.
Presenting companies include Synopsys, ArterisIP, Cadence, Global Foundries, InsideSecure, Rambus, CEVA, ARM, and Andes Technology. There will also be a reception with sponsor exhibits and demonstrations where attendees will have an opportunity to network and discuss specific products and technologies.
The Linley Group offers free attendance to qualified registrants who sign up by July 20. For more information on the conference program and to register, please visit http://www.linleygroup.com/iot-conference.
