The Macallan will come up with a commemorative James Bond 60th anniversary Scotch whisky, which is bottled in six different packages, representing the six decades of 007's movies.
According to Macallan, the packaging brings to life the creative development process of the films in a behind-the-scenes exploration of the James Bond archives.
The Macallan James Bond 60th Anniversary Release was created by The Macallan Master Whisky Maker Kirsteen Campbell to reflect the enduring character of James Bond, who has Scottish heritage.
The resulting 43.7 percent ABV Scotch is said to offer aromas of lemon and lime and sherbet, leading into sweet vanilla and coconut, with a hint of dried fig and raisin. It also has flavors of orange zest, oak, ginger, dark chocolate, figs, baked apple tart, and a honey drizzle.
The finish is described as "sweet and long with complex layers."
Each bottle has a suggested retail price of $1,007.
They will start rolling out this month at The Macallan Online Boutique, The Macallan Estate Boutique, and premium and specialist retailers and bars globally.
It would be available in the US by February 2023.
