The first episode of “The Promised Neverland” was an absolute thriller of a debut that fans just could not get enough of. As a result, viewers can’t wait for “The Promised Neverland” Episode 2 to air and give them even more of that stomach-clenching suspense that they got a taste of. They’ll get plenty of that, as well, with Mother Isabella growing suspicious of the children who are planning their escape.
A big part of “The Promised Neverland” Episode 2 will be Emma, Norman, and Ray formulating a plan to escape the orphanage. What they once viewed as their home has become a livestock pen and they don’t intend to be butchered. The three are the most capable children in the institute, so coming up with a way to make a run for it should not be a problem. Unfortunately, Mother Isabella is more adept than the trio gave her credit for, as TheAnimeScrolls notes.
It turns out that the matronly figure whom the children have fallen in love with because of the warmth and care that she gave them is actually their warden. As befitting of her station, she is also smart, strong, and ruthless. “The Promised Neverland” Episode 2 will reveal that she even has a convenient way of keeping track of the children via transmitters.
This will put the escape plan that Emma and her friends have come up with in jeopardy since Mother Isabella will grow suspicious of their behavior. Despite their best efforts to act as though nothing is wrong, their caretaker will not be so easily fooled. Thus begins the battle of wits in “The Promised Neverland” Episode 2.
For those who are dying to know when “The Promised Neverland” Episode 2 will air, Jan. 17 is the date to keep in mind. The second episode of this promising anime is expected to deliver on even more goodies than the first.
