‘The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods’ episode 13 is expected to feature the continuation of the battle between Escanor and Meliodas, who still thinks that he is the Leader of the Ten Commandments.
But before going into “The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods” episode 13 spoilers, here’s a brief recap of what happened in episode 12. Melascula, one of the Ten Commandments, transformed herself into a giant snake to deal with multiple enemies while Melodias is trapped in the Dark Cocoon.
She attacked Ban first blaming him for the destruction of six of her hearts. Eventually, Ban was hit with her Deadly Poison and he starts to melt and disintegrate due to its potency.
Thankfully, Elizabeth quickly stepped in and healed Ban by neutralizing her poison. King and Diane retaliated using a combination attack that Melascula was not able to anticipate resulting in her sustaining multiple injuries.
Elaine asked Merlin to end Melascula’s life even if she dies in the process. Thankfully, Elizabeth intervened by draining the demon’s venom away from her body. This weakened Melascula greatly and she turned into a tiny snake which Merlin tucked away in a vial.
Meanwhile, Meliodas was able to break free from Melascula’s Dark Cocoon, which surprised the latter as even the Ten Commandments are not able to destroy it. But in order to break free, Meliodas used every bit of his demonic power and entered into what Melascula called Assault Mode, a form that even members of the Ten Commandments feared.
Unfortunately, Assault Mode has its drawbacks. One side effect is that Meliodas seemed to have forgotten about his Seven Deadly Sins teammates and now thinks of himself as the leader of the Ten Commandments.
“Shut up you insolent, lowly human,” Meliodas told Escanor. “I am Meliodas, Leader of the Ten Commandments.”
But Escanor did not seem to mind about Meliodas’ sudden change in attitude and even welcomed it. “I am very happy,” Escanor replied. “Because this is a good opportunity to prove that I’m better than you.”
Now here comes the exciting “The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods” episode 13 spoilers. The berserk Meliodas will continue to fight with Escanor and it will be one epic battle that fans shouldn’t miss.
At first, Meliodas will appear to have the upper hand and will land blows on Escanor most of the time while remaining mostly unscathed himself. But in a key moment, Escanor will suddenly show his true power and will quickly turn the tide to his favor.
In fact, just one attack from Escanor will injure Meliodas. But what fans probably want to know at this point is – who’s the stronger fighter between the two? Be sure to stay tuned for more “The Seven Deadly Sins: Wrath of the Gods” updates.
