CHICAGO, May 23, 2017 -- The Westin Chicago Northwest, located in Itasca, just outside of Chicago-O’Hare, is pleased to announce that Jeremy Schaeffer has been named the new General Manager of the Property. Jeremy brings an extensive resume and a fresh perspective to the recently renovated hotel.

After graduating from Purdue University with a degree in hospitality management, Jeremy started his career as a front desk agent in Indianapolis, IN. From then on Jeremy worked his way up through various departments at several hotels, gaining experience as he climbed, and was eventually promoted to a General Manager position.

Jeremy spent 12 years leading operational and sales teams in the O’Hare and Downtown Chicago markets where his intense focus on profitability, guest service and employee engagement resulted in continuous advancement. His proven success in leading hotel teams is due to his strong desire to ensure the highest satisfaction ratings from both guests and employees.

The Westin Chicago Northwest recently completed a $14 million renovation that included enhanced guest rooms, restyled meeting spaces, a modernized lobby and three new dining concepts. The property is sure that Jeremy’s strong leadership skills and positive attitude will continue to guide their already impressive hotel in the right direction.
