FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Fort Lauderdale, FL, April 20, 2018 -- Topstone Research, a full-service, contract research organization (CRO), has signed a new agreement with OmniComm Systems, Inc. (OTCQX: OMCM), a leading global provider of clinical data management technology. Under the agreement, Topstone will use OmniComm’s TrialMaster EDC technology to develop clinical studies at multiple Topstone research sites.
“We chose OmniComm because Topstone’s growing Data Management department is at a stage where we need to be better equipped to handle more complex trials, with a flexible and customizable EDC system,” said Muhammad Bilal, senior director-Clinical Data Management and Biostatistics at Topstone.
OmniComm was selected as one of Topstone preferred EDC systems based on TrialMaster’s inherent flexibility and broad capabilities to support clinical studies across all phases of clinical development. Deploying studies in an efficient, timely and cost-effective manner was especially important to Topstone. OmniComm’s robust, state-of-the art, compliant hosting environment was another critical factor in the selection process.
“OmniComm continues to make significant progress in the CRO market due to the speed of setup and our comprehensive suite of very robust tools,” said Kuno van der Post, Ph.D., chief commercial officer, OmniComm Systems. “We are thrilled that Topstone has selected TrialMaster to be deployed across a full spectrum of trial phases.”
