U.S. President Donald Trump is set to speak at a high-profile gathering of global financiers and tech executives in Miami later this month, hosted by Saudi Arabia’s $925 billion Public Investment Fund (PIF). According to sources familiar with the event, Trump will deliver an in-person address at the FII Priority summit, although his name is not listed on the official event website.
The summit will feature prominent attendees, including TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew, Oracle CEO Safra Catz, and PIF Governor Yasir Al-Rumayaan. The event, organized by Saudi Arabia’s sovereign wealth fund, aims to bring together influential leaders to discuss global economic trends and investment opportunities.
A spokesperson for FII in Riyadh has yet to comment on Trump’s participation, and the U.S. embassy in Saudi Arabia has not responded to inquiries.
Trump’s potential attendance follows recent tensions with Saudi Arabia, which, along with other Arab states, strongly opposed his proposal to transform Gaza into a luxury tourism destination. His comments on Palestinian displacement have also sparked controversy in the region.
The FII summit is expected to attract top executives and investors, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s role as a major player in global finance and technology. Trump’s presence could further elevate the event’s visibility and add political weight to discussions on international investment and economic strategies.
