UPL Limited shares closed at ₹534.90 on the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) Friday, up 1.60% for the session; its latest results separately showed broadly flat revenue and higher EBITDA.
The stock gained ₹8.40 from its previous close of ₹526.50. The Financial Times’ historical price table listed an opening price of ₹523.30 and a session range of ₹516.80 to ₹538.00.
UPL’s Nov. 2 results release said revenue was broadly flat year over year in the second quarter of fiscal 2027, while earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization (EBITDA) rose 5% to ₹2,312 crore. UPL cited disciplined operations and lower selling, general and administrative expenses as factors that helped manage higher input costs.
UPL Chairman and Group CEO Jai Shroff said, “Despite a volatile global backdrop, our businesses continued to execute with discipline.” The company’s release did not link its results to the later share-price gain, and no specific catalyst for the rise was identified.
UPL shares fell 5.28% on Oct. 30 ahead of the board’s results review, as EconoTimes previously reported.
