Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump for the first time has taken a clear lead over Democratic Presidential nominee Hillary Clinton since the Primaries ended in June. In last 15 polls, conducted since 20th July, Trump has been seen leading in 10 of them, while Hillary was found leading in four and one tied.
Financial Times’ Poll of polls (average) show that Donald Trump is leading Clinton with 45.6 percent to 44.7 percent.
However, despite the recent shift in polls, the betting odds are suggesting that Hillary Clinton is clearly the favourite. RCP has given Clinton an estimated lead with 202 seats compared to 164 for Trump. Betting odds are suggesting that Hillary Clinton has 68 percent chance of winning the White House compared to 32 percent for Trump.
The major focus for the whole nation as well as globe would be at the Presidential debates that are set to begin in late September.
