Well, to be very honest and clear it’s not Donald Trump.
U.S. election is attracting biggest amount of attention ever, this year, around the globe thanks to Mr. Trump. He is also probably the most marketable presidential ever. Merchandise associated with him are selling like anything. He is even the most talked presidential candidate this year.
But, when it comes to, who will be the next President of United States, key factor is Bernie Sanders, second runner in Democratic race, not Mr. Trump.
Thanks to these two men, both the Republican and Democratic parties, more divided than ever.
While Mr. Trump is now Republican Party’s presumptive nominee, Democratic front runner Hillary Clinton is battling Mr. Sanders to win the party nomination.
Poll shows, Mr. Sanders’ followers remain passionate and many of them just not ready to back Mrs. Clinton. Only 50% of the millions, who voted in favor of Sanders, said they would vote for Hillary, while every one person in six said they would shift to Trump.
Catering his campaign towards the working class of America, Mr. Sanders has ignited such a movement that Democratic leaders have recognized that they need to take his views in, even if he isn’t the nominee.
In July convention, leaders have decided to give Sanders a voice in the Democratic process, in a bid to reduce tensions. Mr. Sanders have accused party leaders of favoritism to Clinton. Mr. Sanders will now recommend five members to 15-member committee in charge of preparing Democratic platform, even if he isn’t the nominee. Hillary will be selecting six.
Biggest threat for Republican hopeful Donald Trump is that Hillary Clinton chooses Bernie Sanders as vice-president, which will not only unify the Democratic party but attract voters from Republican too.
