As the days pass by, the scandals surrounding Hillary Clinton’s use of private emails move a bit deeper. She is now widely being accused of “Pay for Play” while she was the secretary of the State under President Obama’s administration. She is now accused of “Conflict of Interest” during her tenure as the Secretary.
Latest revelations show that Hillary Clinton met with 85 people while she was the Secretary of the State, who donated large money to the Clinton foundation. Combined, the 85 donors contributed as much as $156 million. At least 40 donated more than $100,000 each, and 20 gave more than $1 million. Separately, Mrs. Clinton met with representatives of 16 foreign countries that donated $170 million to the Clinton foundation. The emails and Hillary Clinton’s event calendar released after the State department was sued show that private donors to the Clinton foundation met with Secretary Clinton with issues of their own and the department had tried to sort them out.
Republican Presidential nominee, Donald Trump has called for the shutdown of the foundation and calls for special prosecutor to investigate the foundation.
