U.S. under Trump Series: Neither blue nor red but a walk away wave looms in U.S. mid-term

The Democrats in the United States have been touting a ‘blue/democratic wave’ throughout 2018 as the mid-term election approaches, whereas President Trump tweeted that it will be a red wave of Republicans instead that will dominate the election, which will be held in November. However, we believe that none of these waves would be as important as the ‘#walkaway’ wave, which is gaining in strength as the election approaches.

#walkaway is now a movement that is taking place in the United States, where people are waking up to the actual reality of the world after years of mainstream media fed propaganda and leaving the Democratic Party. The campaign was initiated by Brandon Straka, who explained why after years of being Democrat and Liberal is finally walking away from all that. The campaign came under tremendous attack from the mainstream media, who called the campaign as a means to interfere in the U.S. mid-term election using Russia bots. The media even said that those posting stories are either Russian bots or paid operatives. All the stories posted there by real people are fascinating to watch and hear and while many people cited different reasons for their walkaway, majority of the people expressed their disgust towards recent violence promoted by some Democrats like Congresswoman Maxine Waters, against cabinet members of the Trump administration and more importantly anger towards mainstream media for lies and deception, as well as constant bashing of President Trump and his supporters. More and more people are joining this campaign from all across America and including black. While many of them already walked away in 2016 and voted for President Trump, many didn’t including many African-Americans. This campaign shows that a hole has been punched hard in the Democratic base and waters continue to sip in.
