NEW YORK, Oct. 19, 2016 -- Universal Power Industry Corporation (OTC:UPIN) majority owned subsidiary XPAL Technology today announced it has ordered its first prototype power banks to be marketed under the company’s licensed ENERGIZER (ENG) brand.
The production prototypes will consist of various power banks, generating between 8000mAh to 20000mAh. The prototypes will be produced by TennRich International (http://www.tennrich.com) of Taiwan. The company’s the first order will consist of 46,500 units with an estimated delivery date of December, 2016.
XPAL projects that the cost of manufacturing and delivery of its first order to be $580,000 dollars and generate gross revenue of $850,000 dollars producing an gross profit of 32% with an overall net profit of 14% ($119,000 dollars). The company projects a second production order to double in size from its initial order to be received January of 2017.
XPAL projects gross sales of their ENERGIZER (ENG) licensed brand will generate approximately $8,000,000 dollars in gross revenue for 2017 with a 13.5% net profit and $14,000,000 with a 13% net profit for 2018.
The company expects the ENERGIZER (ENG) power banks to be available in Best Buy, Staples, Sam’s Club, Home Depot and Walmart commencing in 2017.
