ALBUQUERQUE, N.M., April 26, 2016 -- TriCore Reference Laboratories' Chief Information Officer, Bill Baker, will address the audience at the Executive War College meeting on Tuesday, April 26, 2016.
Mr. Baker will explain how TriCore's early successes at advancing clinical care and improving patient outcomes will enrich clinical intelligence. TriCore is reshaping the way medicine is delivered through laboratory-driven population health management. Selecting the right test at the right time and converting the resulting data to actionable information, TriCore is helping to reduce the total cost of care and improve patient outcomes.
TriCore generates more than 70% of New Mexico's clinical test data. Combining years of longitudinal and chronological data with analytics powered by Rhodes technology, TriCore connects data from different providers and identifies geographic patterns.
"It is an exciting area for healthcare from clinical, technology and economic perspectives. Using advanced laboratory data analytics we can track patient care, outcomes, and the cost of care. This information adds value for physicians, patients, and payers by helping close gaps, improve outcomes, as well as reduce the cost of care," said Bill Baker, CIO of TriCore Reference Laboratories.
"Technology and integration of clinical lab data with predictive and actionable values create a unique business model. This new model focuses on our value proposition by bringing real data, performing population risk stratification, reducing the effect of latency and developing high risk targeted interventions" says Khosrow Shotorbani, CEO of TriCore Reference Laboratories. "Together with Rhodes, we are advancing analytics to drive improvements in patient and population health through targeted intervention to positively affect patient lives".
