Krikler has decades of experience training top Wall Street analysts, bankers and sales people to “Get to the Point” when presenting investment ideas with focused, actionable content. Recognizing the growing importance of effective presentation skills within the field of investor relations, Krikler has teamed with Catalyst to enhance the success of investor-facing corporate executives and IRO’s. As an independent presentation coach, Krikler has consulted with leading financial services organizations in all parts of the world.
Prior to launching his financial communications skills consulting practice in 2009, Krikler spent 21 years at Goldman Sachs in London and New York where he was a successful sell-side research analyst covering European pharmaceuticals. As an analyst, Krikler worked with many corporates on offerings and investor marketing. He subsequently held various roles in Research Management where he worked with analysts around the world to hone the effectiveness of their research, writing and oral presentations. He also served as Chief of Staff of Goldman Sachs University, the investment bank’s global learning and personnel development entity.
“Failing to Optimize Presentation Skills is like Fishing Without Bait”
David Collins, Catalyst IR
“As sell-side sponsorship shrinks, it is critical that management learn to effectively present its investment story to time-constrained investors,” said Catalyst IR Managing Director, David Collins. “Paul Krikler is a breath of fresh air in presentation training. He has deep, first-hand experience of what does and doesn’t work, and he’s skilled at gaining the trust of senior executives in coaching sessions. Considering the importance and enormous resources utilized in investor marketing, presentation training provides a clear and compelling return on investment.”
Krikler began his career as a chartered accountant at PricewaterhouseCoopers before joining Goldman Sachs in London as a sell-side research analyst. He earned an MA with honors in Natural Sciences at the University of Cambridge.
