An administration release issued Nov. 4 forecast that Democratic efforts to roll back President Donald J. Trump’s agenda would fail before his term ends, while laying out a broad range of targets.
The White House listed possible changes involving immigration, taxes, law enforcement, energy and federal policies. It said Democrats might reopen the border, raise taxes, weaken law enforcement and revive the Green New Deal, among other actions.
The release also cited race-based diversity, equity and inclusion policies, censorship, waste and fraud, and removals of people it described as criminals in the country illegally. It accused Democrats of planning another impeachment effort and seeking to pack the Supreme Court.
The White House credited Trump with tax cuts and record economic growth, a violent-crime decline it called the largest in modern history, deportations on a mass scale, energy independence and record energy production. The release included no supporting figures or comparison periods for those claims.
The White House asserted that Americans had already rejected the agenda it attributed to Democrats. The release named no legislation, lawmakers or scheduled votes, and gave no date for a next policy decision.
