Stadium Finance was launched in November 2021 and ever since then has been referred to as the next SHIB, or just another knockoff.
However, the two projects, although similar in many cases, are nothing alike as the Stadium Finance’s team actually designed a mechanic that brings value to the token instead of simply existing and relying on publicity.
Main Difference - Mechanics
Stadium Finance is designed to pit two communities against each other in a way to drive the local tokens’ prices rather than simply relying on basic community activity for gains.
You see, the two native tokens, SPEP and SAPE have a “battle” every 8 hours to determine which community was more active. This battle is designed to reward active communities by burning a small supply of their tokens to push the price even further.
What this does is provide the communities with room to maneuver, design strategies, and effectively play a game on this crypto project for their own gain. However, due to the close proximity of the two tokens to each other, it’s unlikely for one of them to fall too short of the other regardless of the battle outcomes.
This small feature is one of the main reasons why people compare Stadium Finance to SHIB, thinking that it’s just another community token.
But, as described above, it has much more layers and therefore is a better version of community-governed crypto projects.
Due to the huge traction that SHIB caused online, it has quickly become one of the most popular meme cryptocurrencies available. It can be traded on numerous platforms, apart from regular crypto exchanges. In fact, according to ForexTradingBonus, it is very frequently traded as CFDs with leading FX brokers.
There’s an actual end goal
Unlike SHIB, the community has an actual end goal when trading SAPE or SPEP, to beat the opposing team and see how much their coin could potentially gain price.
This then introduces leagunomics, which is a relatively unexplored part of the blockchain industry.
With coins gaining in price, the economics of the project prevent all of the supply from being burnt as less and less of it becomes available for burning after each battle. At some point in the future, burning even 1 SAPE or SPEP will be a job well done for each team, potentially moving the project to heights that SHIB couldn’t even dream of.
The final verdict is that what makes Stadium Finance so different from SHIB is that it has some sort of certainty assigned to it, while SHIB relishes in speculation. As long as one community is more active than the other, SAPE and SPEP both have a legitimate way of gaining some value, while SHIB does not get that guarantee, thus making Stadium Finance a much more stable and safe investment for 2022.
