ORLANDO, Fla., Feb. 16, 2017 -- Windstream (NASDAQ:WIN), a leading provider of advanced network communications, today announced that one of its customers, UK HealthCare, will participate in a panel discussion about the benefits of migrating data to the hybrid cloud at the 2017 HIMSS Annual Conference & Exhibition in Orlando. The panel discussion will also include FirstCare Health Plans, a customer of Windstream strategic ally Peak 10, and Forrester Research’s Katherine McCarthy will be the guest moderator.
The panel discussion will take place from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. EST on Monday, Feb. 20, 2017, in Room W204A at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Fla. It will include Jan Bates, systems operations director at UK HealthCare, and Mark Seale, AVP of IT Operations at FirstCare Health Plans.

The panelists will discuss their first-hand experiences moving mission critical applications to the cloud, including reviewing and evaluating the features and benefits of adopting hybrid cloud, as well as considering which model and network option met their needs best. They will also discuss related issues such as security and meeting HIPAA requirements.
