McDonald’s Australia revealed that cheeseburger, the legendary combo of 100 percent Aussie beef, onions, pickle, ketchup, mustard, and cheese, all in a soft burger bun. as its most ordered menu item of 2021.
It was followed by hash brown, Big Mac, chicken nuggets, and McCafé cappuccino:
Surprisingly, French fries did not make the top five list.
Fans were also surprised that the cappuccino earned a spot in the top five, beating out the French fries, onion rings, and McFlurries.
The Quarter Pounder was another favorite that was missing from the list.
According to McDonald’s Australia spokesperson, their customers choose their taste adventure, which makes it hard to predict the ultimate fan favorites.
The spokesperson added that the competition will heat up this Summer with new favorites added on the menu, including the Big Mac Bacon, Chicken Big Mac, and Onion Rings with BBQ Sauce.
