All eyes are once again on Xbox Live's director of programming Larry “Major Nelson” Hryb as he reveals the lineup for next month’s XBox Games With Gold.
October’s free games include Ghost Town Games’ “Overcooked,” a cooperative cooking simulation game for one to four players. The game is pretty straightforward. The objective is to prepare and serve as many dishes as possible, and players will have to work together if they want to fulfill all the orders within the given time limit. “Overcooked” may not be a triple-A game, but XBox Games With Gold subscribers can still have a lot of fun with its cooperative gameplay.
Next game on the list of next month’s XBox Games With Gold is Haemimont Games’ “Victor Vran,” an isometric action role-playing game (RPG) in which players assume the role of a demon hunter. “Victor Vran” is playable for up to four players online, and like most RPGs, the game allows players to customize their character.
THQ’s racing game “Stuntman Ignition” will also be added to the XBox Games With Gold lineup this October. In the second installment in the “Stuntman” franchise, Players will assume the role of a professional stunt driver as he makes his way to the top. “Stuntman Ignition” is a fairly old game, but it still offers a lot of fun.
Rounding up the list of free games for next month’s Xbox Games With Gold members is “Hitman: Blood Money,” the fourth installment in the “Hitman” franchise by IO Interactive. In this stealth game, players assume the role of a professional hitman known as Agent 47 as he competes against a rival agency of assassins.
Xbox Games With Gold members playing on Xbox One can get “Overcooked” and “Victor Vran.” Xbox 360 titles “Stuntman Ignition” and “Hitman: Blood Money” are also backwards compatible on the Xbox One.
