OVERLAND PARK, Kan., March 21, 2017 -- YRC Worldwide Inc. (NASDAQ:YRCW) announces the appointment of Jason T. Ringgenberg as Chief Information Officer for YRCW. Ringgenberg will be responsible for leading and directing the integrity, security and functionality of all IT systems, processes and support functions at all YRCW operating companies. “Jason has been instrumental in upgrading the technology platform at YRC Freight over the past few years,” said Welch. “The supply chain is rapidly evolving with new technologies in the cab, on the dock and throughout the entire shipping process from pickup to delivery. Jason is well positioned to lead technology applications and innovations at YRC Freight, Holland, Reddaway and New Penn. He is the right leader at the right time,” added Welch.
“James and I had the opportunity to work together years ago when we designed, developed and implemented a new linehaul management solution and launched the first centralized customer service centers for YRC Freight,” said Ringgenberg. “I look forward to working closely with James again and serving the YRC Freight, Holland, Reddaway and New Penn teams. There is tremendous opportunity for all of our operating companies to further utilize technology for gains in customer service, efficiency and highway safety. This is an excellent time to be working in such a dynamic industry and company,” added Ringgenberg.
