Anadolu Agency reported that Yemeni Armed Forces spokesman Majed Abdullah al-Nuzayli said the military carried out 780 strikes in 24 hours, claiming about 512 Houthi fighters were neutralized amid a government offensive.
Al-Nuzayli said more than 330 military vehicles were destroyed or damaged. He said targets included sites in Al-Jawf, western Marib and Al-Bayda, in addition to northern fronts. The operations were part of Operation Dawn of Yemen, he said.
He also reported that attacks destroyed heavy weapons and reinforcements headed for front lines in Taiz province. Al-Nuzayli credited the attacks with disrupting Houthi military activity. He said keeping reinforcements from reaching forward positions helped government forces sustain their offensive.
The spokesman said further operations would target military positions and reinforcements, with precautions intended to protect civilians and civilian infrastructure. Anadolu Agency said it could not independently verify the military's casualty and damage figures and reported no immediate Houthi comment.
The latest tally follows an army statement published by Yemen News Agency Saba, which reported 835 operations and about 285 Houthi members and leaders neutralized in the Oct. 21 army tally. Anadolu has explained in earlier reporting that the military's term 'neutralized' can include fighters killed or wounded, as covered in EconoTimes' earlier report on the term.
