Long liquidations across Binance, Bybit and OKX exceeded short liquidations by $1.1 million in one hour, while Zcash (ZEC) fell 2.25% on Binance at the Oct. 21 snapshot.

The Binance ZEC/USDT spot quote was $1,298 at 10:30 p.m. ET, after standing at $1,328 one hour earlier. At the same reading, ZEC was 2.76% above its level 24 hours before. The two performance figures use separate windows: the drop compares adjacent hourly prices, while the gain covers a full day.

Combined figures for Binance, Bybit and OKX put long liquidations at $1.13 million and short liquidations at $30,000 over that hour. Most of the reported liquidation value came from long positions, which are held in expectation of a price increase.

A previous EconoTimes report on Oct. 19 recorded $160,000 in long liquidations and $90,000 in short liquidations over a separate hour.
