Gatorade has partnered with ImpacX, a smart packaging platform company, to launch a water bottle featuring a patented smart cap technology that tracks and collects users’ hydration data.
The data is based on beverage intake based on the user’s profile and sport activity.
This innovation encourages hydration with reminders that are triggered by sensors located within the bottle’s cap that detect the level of liquid inside the bottle.
The Gatorade Smart Gx bottle is available online in black with a kit including the bottle, a four-pack of Gx pods, and two Gx Sweat Patches for $69.99.
