FinTech Sandbox, a Boston-based non-profit that promotes fintech innovation, has announced series of events and revealed a lineup of presenters who will demonstrate presentions that are fintech savvy, during Demo Day 3.0 at Boston on November 1, 2016.
According to the official release, the Demo Day 3.0 will see presentations from the US and UK-based startups and also will feature eight chief executives showcasing the products that their companies have developed. The companies include AlphaHat, Amenity Analytics, Aprenita, Income&, Koyfin, Panalytics, Satoru and VendorMach.
“Demo Day 3.0 will showcase a new, diverse group of startups that are leveraging data and infrastructure from our partners to meet emerging needs in financial services,” Jean Donnelly, Executive Director of FinTech Sandbox said.
The Fintech Sandbox startups will be using technologies such as machine learning, high-performance computing, blockchain, and virtual reality in order to tackle some of the greatest problems challenging the industry today. The Demo Day will be followed by a private fundraising symposium and Sandbox alumni reception follow on November 2.
“The next day’s alumni reception lets us celebrate the success of Sandbox residents who have graduated and are making an impact in the marketplace,” Jean added.
The Demo Day 3.0 will have a featured speech by John "Fawce" Fawcett, Founder and CEO of Quantopian as well as co-founder and board member of FinTech Sandbox. Quantopian is a free platform that has an online community of over 90,000 members from 180 countries creating institutional-quality investment algorithms.
