Admit it or not, Apple product launch is one of the most anticipating events every year. Fortunately, there are leaked details revealing what to expect on this tablet.
Recently, Google announced its Google Pixel Slate, which said to be a rival of iPad. The question now is, will Apple allow Google to surpass their innovation? Apple has plans to launch iPad Pro 2018 this year. However, the tech giant hasn't given any details about its new features and even its launch date.
Many of its loyal fans are craving to know more about iPad Pro 2018. In fact, there are leakers who make an effort to find some details about the new product.
Talking about iPad Pro 2018 leaks, there are “sources familiar with the development” told speaking to 9to5Mac that the iPad Pro 2018 with cellular will come in four model numbers: iPad8,3, iPad8,4, iPad8,7, and iPad8,8. There is also Wi-Fi-only version will come with have four model numbers, specifically iPad8,1, iPad8,2, iPad8,5, and iPad8,6.
Apparently, there will be two iPad Pro 2018 Wi-Fi models in both sizes (likely 10.5-inch and 12.9-inch) and two cellular models in both sizes. However, it is a mystery what are the differences between the two models. Most likely it's storage capacity.
According to the same sources who told the publication, the iPad Pro 2018 will apparently have an edge-to-edge screen and the home button has been ditched.
iPad Pro 2018 will definitely have Face ID, despite there not being a notch. According to TechRadar, the device will use the same image signal processor as the iPhone XS range. The face ID on the iPad will work in both portrait and landscape orientation, but not upside down.
Another new feature of iPad Pro 2018 includes the ability to output 4K HDR videos to an external display using the slate’s rumored USB-C port. The device has a new version of the Magnetic Connector, to connect accessories, such as a new version of Apple’s Smart Keyboard.
There will be a new Apple Pencil that will be launched alongside the iPad Pro 3. The new pencil can be paired with the slate by proximity, much like Apple AirPods. The source clarified that it is not sure whether the current Apple Pencil will work with the new iPad Pro 2018 or not.
