The forthcoming iPhone SE 4 is set to incorporate design elements from the iPhone 16, including a single camera lens and updated back cover, as suggested by industry sources.

Adoption of iPhone 16 Back Cover Process

There have been rumors and claims that the iPhone SE 4 would have the same design and form factor as the iPhone 14, although there may be a change to the camera placement. Nevertheless, the overall appearance will be similar.

This is due to the fact that, unlike the iPhone 14 and 16, the SE 4 is anticipated to feature a single camera system. The rear cover procedure of the iPhone SE 4 will be identical to that of the iPhone 16, according to Weibo user Fixed Focus Digital.

There has been prior speculation that the gadget resembles the iPhone 14, which is visually similar to the iPhone 16, thus this is certainly not the first time such rumors have surfaced, per WCCFTECH. Since Apple hasn't changed the method for making the back covers of the iPhone 14 and iPhone 15, it's possible that the iPhone 16 series—and, by extension, the iPhone SE 4—will follow suit.

With the elimination of the clunky Home button design and the introduction of Touch ID, the iPhone SE 4 is shaping up to be a huge improvement over its predecessor.

Significant Design Improvements

The enormous bezels on top and bottom of the gadget will also undergo a radical transformation to an all-screen layout, which is both more contemporary and functional. We expect the corporation to ditch Touch ID in favor of Face ID, and we also expect to see a smaller notch than the larger ones seen on the iPhone X and later models.

An organic light-emitting diode (OLED) panel will replace the LCD screen, but the company's plans to keep the device affordable remain murky.

Hopes for USB-C Integration

In addition to this, the replacement of Lightning with USB-C is something we're hoping for so that it can stay up with modern accessories.

Finally, if the gadget had an improved chip, like the A17 Pro or the A18 Pro, it would have a long lifespan. Since the iPhone SE 4 is likely to be unveiled in the spring of 2025 by Apple, it is possible that it may adopt design elements, such as the back cover process, from the iPhone 16 series.
