STAMFORD, Conn., Feb. 17, 2016 -- Actor, philanthropist, and buildOn Ambassador, Travis Van Winkle (TNT's The Last Ship), will host his second annual LoveLife: LIVESTREAM event, a talent showcase in Los Angeles on Sunday, March 6th. Travis's fundraiser will bring together actors, musicians, dancers, poets, and others who are donating their time and talent in support of non-profit buildOn. The event will be broadcast LIVE from The Microsoft Lounge to a global audience on www.twitch.tv/tiltify from 12:00pm (PST) – 4:00pm (PST). The Microsoft Lounge, CBS, TNT and TBS are supporting his event.
During the live-stream, there will be musical performances by multiplatinum recording artists Andy Grammer and Rachel Platten, Lip-Sync Battles featuring actors Justin Baldoni from CW's Jane The Virgin, Bridget Reagan from TNT's The Last Ship, Charles Michael Davis and Danielle Campbell from CW's The Originals, with other performances by Matt Moy from CBS' Two Broke Girls, Briana Evigan from the Step Up franchise, Nyambi Nyambi from CBS' Mike and Molly, and Dante Basco from Avatar:The Last Airbender, Aldis Hodge from Straight outta Compton and the upcoming Underground, buildOn Alum Frankie Grande, Ryan Cabrera, with appearances from Aisha Tyler from The Talk and many more surprise guests.

Rewards available to donors include signed memorabilia, set visits, backstage passes to concerts, Skype sessions with performers, a trek to Nepal led by Travis himself, and even the opportunity to participate LIVE in the event. Utilizing the Tiltify platform, viewers can make donations throughout the campaign and during the live-stream event to directly interact with their favorite performers.
This globally live-streamed event aims to raise $100,000 to build three primary schools abroad with buildOn. Andy Grammer and Rachel Platten will not only be performing during the event, but are planning on building one of the three schools with their manager Ben Singer.
Additionally, Travis plans on bringing 6 "Bigs" and 6 "Littles" from the Big Brother Big Sisters of Greater Los Angeles to help build one of the schools in Senegal, Africa. The school building trip will provide the opportunity for the group to travel overseas, live in a rural village, engage in meaningful cultural exchange, and raise awareness for the importance of global education.
