‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ season 4’s episode 22, titled “World’s End,” will feature Aida as she continues her rampage of attempting to end the world. Ghost Rider will also return to help Coulson and the rest of the team in order to defeat the powerful threat.
The short synopsis for “World’s End” posted on TV Guide reads, “In the Season 4 finale, Ghost Rider (Gabriel Luna) emerges suddenly and Coulson (Clark Gregg) and the team attempt to stop Aida (guest star Mallory Jansen) from ending the world.”
The upcoming season 4 finale of Marvel’s ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ is set to follow Phil Coulson and the rest of the team as they attempt to stop Aida from ending the world with Fitz’s (Iain de Caestecker) help. Robbie Reyes a.k.a. Ghost Rider is set to make his dramatic return to aid his allies, as shown in promotional photographs of episode 22 posted on Spoilers Guide. Ghost Rider’s return was already hinted at the end of episode 21.
The promo opens to Daisy (Chloe Bennet) telling Robbie, “I didn’t think I’d see you again.” The team will have to race against time to conquer Aida, who is bringing in the threat of an apocalypse. Coulson then tells Robbie that they need his powers to defeat the LMD.
The next scene shows Aida saying that she can’t wait to burn the world to the ground. She also warns Fitz, “I’m gonna kill everyone you love right in front of you.” It is clear that Aida will stop at nothing to complete her plan of destruction, beginning with her first target: Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge).
Meanwhile, season 5 has officially been renewed on ABC. According to the Independent, stars Clark Gregg and Ming-Na Wen have also taken to social media to thank fans of the series following the fifth season’s renewal.
‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ season 4’s episode 22, titled “World’s End,” is scheduled to air on ABC on May 16, 2017. It was directed by Billy Gierhart and written by Jeffrey Bell.
