Celeb gossip outlets always have something to publish about the estranged couple Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. Most recently, there were claims that the “Maleficent” actress misses having "intimate conversations" and regrets splitting up with her ex. However, it was quickly dismissed by another report.
In both reports, HollywoodLife referred to an insider claimed to be close to Jolie. However, celeb rumor fact-checking website Gossip Cop called out the celeb news blog, alleging that the quoted statements from these articles seem “fabricated.”
A HollywoodLife source said in one of the reports, “Angie misses talking to Brad… Angelina misses connecting with her former best friend and lover.” Gossip Cop dissected this statement, saying that addressing Pitt as Jolie’s bestie and lover sounded “extremely unnatural.”
Gossip Cop also cast doubt on another recent article from the same blog claiming that Angelina Jolie started regretting their split and started missing Brad Pitt because of his "hot new look." Gossip Cop, through its own sources, concluded that both reports are “not true.”
It is also quite contradictory for Jolie to regret their split, especially after it was reported that she initiated a “secret meeting” to make progress on their divorce. Last month, Entertainment Tonight reported that Jolie reached out to Pitt for the said meeting and the main purported agenda was their co-parenting arrangements.
Other than words from unnamed sources, there have been indications that the estranged couple is not doing so well in sharing the custody of their children. Earlier this year, court documents were obtained by The Blast revealing that a judge insisted that the six kids have a relationship with both Jolie and Pitt.
The court also reportedly ordered Angelina Jolie to give Brad Pitt every child’s contact number and allow them to communicate without supervision anytime. The same documents have also warned Jolie that Pitt could be given “primary physical custody” if their minor kids “remain closed down to their father.”
