Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM) Announces Contract Extensions for Executive Director and Director of Responsible Gaming as Membership Total Hits 168 Companies

LAS VEGAS, Feb. 14, 2018 -- The Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM) announced today that its Board of Directors has approved a new 3-year contract extension for respected gaming industry veteran Marcus Prater that will keep him as the organization’s Executive Director into 2021.

Prater has been AGEM’s Executive Director since 2008 and his current 3-year term was set to expire at the end of this month. The Board also approved a 1-year contract extension for AGEM Director of Responsible Gaming Connie Jones.

Separately, AGEM also announced that its Board approved the membership applications of six new companies, bringing the trade group comprised of the world’s leading gaming suppliers to a total of 168 members, an all-time high.
The new AGEM members are:

• Comtrade Gaming, based in Ljubljana, Slovenia, is a high-end software and technology provider to the land-based and online gaming industry sectors.
• E4 Gaming, based in Mexico City, is a leading provider of casino layouts, currency options, table game equipment and loyalty kiosks in Mexico and Latin America.
• Gaming Specialized Logistics, based in Henderson, Nevada, provides management over the flow of goods and materials between points of origin and end-use destinations specifically for the gaming machine business.
