Concurrent Technologies Corporation (CTC) and its affiliate Enterprise Ventures Corporation (EVC) recently earned re-certification under the AS9100D:2016 Quality Management System, which applies to the design, manufacture, production, assembly, and test of aerospace-related products.
Companies maintain certification through rigorous and comprehensive audits by a third-party certifying body to ensure compliance with the standard. The CTC and EVC certification process was conducted by ABS Quality Evaluations, Inc.
The AS9100 standard supplements the ISO 9001 requirements with conditions needed for work with the Department of Defense, NASA, and the Federal Aviation Administration. Companies that achieve AS9100D certification have proven their quality processes and continuous improvement.
Along with the AS9100D certification, CTC now maintains these quality, environmental, and health/safety certifications:
- ISO 9001:2015 (Quality)
- ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental)
- AS9100:2016 (Quality – Aerospace-related Products)
- OSHA VPP Star (Health and Safety)
“We are very pleased to announce the recent AS9100D and all of our quality re-certifications,” said Edward J. Sheehan, Jr., CTC President and Chief Executive Officer. “These accomplishments represent the hard work of our Quality staff and every employee at both CTC and EVC. Together we have created a workplace that values and operates at the highest standards of quality to benefit our clients in various arenas.”
