The Behavioral Analysis Unit of the FBI is going to investigate four murders at once in “Criminal Minds” season 14 episode 6. But, more importantly, the upcoming case will also mess with Alvez’s (Adam Rodriguez) mind and put his career in danger.
“Criminal Minds” season 14 episode 6 is titled “Luke,” which is a total giveaway that Alvez will be at the center of all the chaos in the next installment. Unfortunately, whatever his connections are in the quadruple homicide will force him to act outside his jurisdiction.
Someone is out for blood in “Criminal Minds” season 14 episode 6, leaving four murder victims within just three days “along the eastern seaboard.” The BAU will be called in to investigate the case but Alvez will be too close to work on it.
The BAU will later figure out that the murders have a link to Alvez’s previous work with the DEA and Mexican law enforcement. The official “Criminal Minds” season 14 episode 6 teaser implies that the murders are some sort of a taunt aimed at Alvez.
Naturally, fans will have to wait for the release of “Criminal Minds” season 14 episode 6 to find out how Alvez is related to the victims or the killer. But the teaser reveals that Alvez’s previous work in Mexico involved a hitman who is possibly the one pulling the strings in this new case.
The killer surely knows how to get inside Alvez’s head. The preview for “Criminal Minds” season 14 episode 6 shows Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness) saying, “Luke’s in danger.” Then in the following scenes, the BAU profiler investigates a certain location on his own.
Alvez’s moves are apparently off-the-books. An angry Emily (Paget Brewster) apprehends Alvez in the “Criminal Minds” season 14 episode 6 preview and yells about him disobeying a direct order. Aside from being reprimanded, Alvez is in much deeper trouble as he is seen being arrested in the same video trailer.
While Luke is obviously in trouble in “Criminal Minds” season 14 episode 6, CarterMatt is certain that the BAU profiler will come out alive after the episode. “Luke” will air on Wednesday, Nov. 7, at 10 p.m. ET on CBS.
