“Fuller House” season 4 is already done filming, with the set up in September. The cast let their fans know about it when they posted photos that showed everyone celebrating the end of filming. However, while the show has yet to air, there were rumors that this will be the final season of the beloved family-themed comedy.
The reboot of the classic sitcom maybe saying goodbye once “Fuller House” season 4 concludes. It was said that Netflix is considering its cancellation but no reason was given.
Although it was not stated, some guessed that if ever the news is true, the cancelation may have something to do with the firing of show creator Jeff Franklin. He was let go due to allegations of inappropriate behavior in February and was replaced by Steve Baldikoski and Bryan Behar.
With regards to the rumors of “Fuller House” season 4’s cancelation, TV Line reached out to Netflix for comments. Its spokesperson said, “No decision has been made about the future of 'Fuller House'; we’re looking forward to the premiere of Season 4 later this year.”
In any case, when “Fuller House” season 4 premieres, its plot will center on Kimmy Gibbler’s (Andrea Barber) pregnancy as well as DJ Tanner’s (Candace Cameron Bure) love life. Firstly, DJ and Steve Hale (Scott Weinger) will get back together as they finally rekindled their love after failed relationships. The former was set to marry Matt Harmon (John Brotherton) but she realized it was a mistake and backed out of their engagement.
As for Kimmy Gibbler, she will be giving birth to a child but as everyone already knows, the kid is not really hers for she only agreed to be Stephanie’s (Jodie Sweetin) surrogate. Kimmy’s mother-in-law does not know about this arrangement so her reaction when she visits her is another thing to see when “Fuller House” season 4 airs.
“Fuller House” season 4’s air date has yet to be announced but Candace Cameron Bure hinted that it could be released in December. In an Instagram post, she wrote, “Fans and followers, we will let you know of our season premiere date soon!!! Probably in December.”
