“Kabukichou Sherlock” episode 24 will mark the end of the first season of this anime. It will be a hectic chapter since it should offer conclusions to everything that happened in the past episodes.
The most interesting scene would be to see how Sherlock will change from now since coming to his senses after going crazy for a while, probably due to his shock over Moriarty’s death. But then, it is also possible that he is not hallucinating and James Moran could really be alive and in hiding.
Recap
As shared on Hulu, episode 23 of “Kabukichou Sherlock” is called "Everybody Be There At Eight" and its plot summary reads: “Watson desperately tries to track down Sherlock before he reaches the point of no return.”
Irene and Watson are desperately tracking down Sherlock because he could commit something that he will forever regret and will make it difficult for him to live a normal life again. This is because he seems to be losing himself and already reaching the point where he could even kill people and in fact, he is already being suspected of being the killer of the prison escapees that have not been caught yet.
While it is good that Irene managed to make Sherlock come out of his house and get back to business, the problem is that Sherlock has other things in mind and he is focused on finding Moriarty that he thinks is still out there somewhere. He has been taking hints via phone messages and following those orders, believing that it is James who is directing him so they could meet.
“Kabukichou Sherlock” episode 23 is also sad because Mycroft, Sherlock’s own brother is leading the police in the hunt to arrest him for the alleged murders. It is unfortunate that Watson is there to save Sherlock.
What will happen next?
In the upcoming finale, “Kabukichou Sherlock” episode 24 is likely to reveal that Mycroft has a hidden agenda for his big interest in getting Sherlock locked up in jail. It is even possible that Mycroft is actually using the remaining three escapees to frame his brother. Also, it will finally be disclosed if Moriarity is still alive which will be a big twist.
“Kabukichou Sherlock” episode 24 will be released on March 28 as per IMDb.
