Luffy and Zoro's unexpected reunion in town is bound to culminate in an epic battle in "One Piece" chapter 913 with one of the biggest threats the Straw Hat Pirates will encounter in Wano Country. Basil effectively crashes the Luffy-Zoro reunion.
Fans are already speculating hard about chapter 913 on the "One Piece" subreddit regarding what strengths and weaknesses the characters will be bringing to the almost expected battle. There are speculations that are absolutely ridiculous, but the more level-headed ones are predicting that regardless of its duration, the meeting of Zoro, Luffy, and Basil will start a battle.
If Basil chooses to initiate a battle in “One Piece” Chapter 913, It is bound to be an epic chapter for the series.
While Basil has yet to be seen as a proven combatant, his fate-predicting cards and protective voodoo dolls will make it a tough battle for Luffy and Zoro. Basil's Devil Fruit ability can easily deflect the powerful attacks that Luffy and Zoro make to any innocent bystander. This means that Basil can use Luffy and Zoro's own strengths to defeat them. Because of this, the Straw Hat Pirate pair needs to take care of when and how they attack Basil. This would also put O-tama, who is nearby, in danger should Basil choose to direct the pair's attacks at her.
But Luffy and Zoro may not be as helpless against Basil. Luffy may have a chance to get to use his future sight ability, which got awakened during the Whole Cake Island arc, to predict the outcome of actions. Should Luffy be able to fully utilize his future sight ability, he might be able to predict the future much better than Basil, giving the team the edge they need to take out the captain of the Hawkins Pirates.
Some speculations also go into Luffy and Zoro running into the rest of the Straw Hat Pirate crew after their battle with Basil ends. Hopefully, this happens soon as fans have been through at least four chapters already with the rest of the Straw Hat Pirates nowhere in sight.
"One Piece" Chapter 913 will be published in the Aug. 6 issue of Shonen Jump.
