“Rick and Morty” season 4, episode 6, is not around yet, and it is already the end of January. Fans have been waiting for the second part of the sixth installment since the holidays ended, but up to know, there is no update with regards to the show’s return.
The promise
Apparently, “Rick and Morty” season 4 episode 6 is delayed, and fans are already getting upset. This is because Dan Harmon and Justin Roiland already promised before this season premiere that there would be no more delays or long waiting gap between the seasons and episodes. However, it is only the second part of the fourth installment, and it’s already delayed.
“I think it’s safe to say without fear of being wrong that the gap between seasons three and four will be the longest and last time that it’s ever so long that it’s ridiculous,” the show creators told Entertainment Weekly last year. “I don’t know how fast we can do it, but I know it will never be this long again.”
The demand from fans
Fans are letting the showrunners and everyone behind the show know that they are not happy with the delay anymore. They are demanding “Rick and Morty” season 4, episode 6, to be released now. It did not help when Adult Swim posted a Super Bowl ad video featuring Rick and Morty. The grandpa and grandson duo were promoting Pringles, and it seems the viewers did not like this.
Express reported that some of the viewers didn’t take the lead start’s appearance in the ad well, and they started to criticize Adult Swim. In the comment section of the ad, one fan wrote, “WHERE’S EPISODE SIX?” while another one asked, “Cool, but what about next episode??”
One impatient fan did not hide his anger and told the studio that they could have prepared better for “Rick and Morty” season 4. They were out for two years, and yet, they can’t even release one complete season and rather giving the viewers only five episodes.
When is episode 6 coming
Adult Swim has not given any update with regards to “Rick and Morty” season 4 episode 6’s exact airdate, but they did announce that it will return in 2020.
